At the April 18th Mayor & Council meeting, after returning from a closed session, Mayor Accardi announced that the governing body would be rescinding an invitation to have United States Congressman Donald Payne, Jr. and his staff be able to use the mayor’s office once or twice a week on a zero dollar lease.
We feel the reasons given by council members Tanya Torres, Michael Yakubov, and Modesto Miranda against such an offer did not have the will nor the best interest of the residents of Roselle Park at heart.
Practicing the tenet of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, we are petitioning our government for a redress of our grievance on this matter.

Hopefully, our elected officials will hear the will of the people and reverse their decision.
